    Tips and Tricks - Nutrition

Don’t let yourself get hungry before or after touring or training. Your body needs feeding to be able to cope with the exertion. What’s important is to have a balanced, varied diet, including a high intake of liquids, due to the dry-hot climate.
Bring only trusted bars or sports drinks with you, ones that you know what’s in them. Don’t take chances.
To avoid problems such as diarrhoea, (“Pharaoh’s Revenge”), we recommend using only mineral water from a bottle to clean your teeth, cook, wash fruit, vegetables or salad.
In hotels and restaurants, ideally only consume fruit, vegetables and salads if they are peeled or cooked. You should avoid drinks that are too cold, ice cream, ice cubes, egg-based dishes, dishes that include dairy products, fish and other dishes that are made up of easily perishable food and ingredients.
